Vickie, so sorry to hear of my dear friend, Mrs. Merle, Passing. We worked together for years. I’ll always remember the back of line #5. We had so much fun back there everyday. Mrs. Merle called us her Family and she kept of fed real good every day. We all loved her so much. We really hated when she retired and left us. She will be truly missed. You and the family are in my prayers.
Vicki, I’m so sorry to hear about Ms. Merle. She was always such joy to work with. I know she sure did work hard at looking good and, no doubt, she looked good until the day she passed. I’ll bet she wouldn’t go until Ms. Nancy did her makeup! Bless her heart, my prayers are for Ms. Merle.
Much love to your entire family,

So sorry to learn of Merle’s passing. Howell was a good community to live in, and one reason was the Waid family. I love the picture, it is just like I remember her, always like she had just stepped out of the beauty shop. You all are in my heart and my prayers.
God Bless,
Peggy Groce Bevels
