Graveside funeral services for Mayme Ruth Swinford Colbert, age 87, of Fayetteville, will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 PM at Kirkland Cemetery with Jeff Swinford officiating.
Mrs. Colbert was a native of Lincoln County was a daughter of the late Willie and Ola Clark Swinford and retired as a sales clerk from Kuhn’s Department Store.
Survivors include two sisters: Wilma Monks and husband Maurice and Mardell Moffett, and sister-in-law Jean Swinford all of Fayetteville, three nieces, three nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Colbert was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years Earl Colbert and one brother Edward Swinford.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home.
