Funeral service for Mrs. Mary Ruth Lombard, age 80, of Cohutta, GA, formerly of Alabaster, AL, will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at the Rock Family Worship Center in Fayetteville, TN.  Visitation with the family will be from 11 AM until the time of service at 12 PM at the church.  Private interment will take place in Bell Terre Cemetery.

Mary was born on September 17, 1940, in Booneville, MS to the late Lawrence V. and Ilene Stevens Ricketts.  She worked as a bookkeeper in the pest control industry and was a member of the Church of God.  Mrs. Lombard passed away on August 30, 2021, in Dalton, GA.

Survivors include her children, Mitzi (Randy) Tatum of Cohutta, GA, Anthony Lawrence (Shirleen) Lombard of Cleveland, TN, and Jeffrey Scott (Deliska) Lombard of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Joshua (Allison) Tatum, Jessica Tatum, Caleb (Claire) Tatum, Grace, Abigail, Faith, Judah, Benjamin, and Kiersten Lombard; great-grandchildren, Bryce Stanley, Jacob Tatum, Gabriel Tatum and Campbell Tatum; and sister, Betty Ricketts Lambert.  In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence “Larry” Lombard.

Mary loved flowers and they are welcome, but memorials may also be made to the Alabaster Church of God, 530 1^st Ave., W., Alabaster, AL 35007.
