Funeral service for Mrs. Mary Louise Wright, age 88, of Fayetteville, TN will be conducted at 11 AM on Friday, October 23, 2020 at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Rusty Heflin officiating. Burial will follow in Medium Cemetery.
Mary was born on October 7, 1932 in Devils Lake, ND to the late John Joseph and Agnes Christine Peterson Altringer. Mrs. Wright served in the US Air Force and was of the Methodist Faith. Mary passed away on October 21, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.
Survivors include her children, John D. Wright of Fayetteville, Barbara (Douglas) Mitchell of Pulaski, William Wright of Fayetteville, Betty (Randy) Pogue of Flintville, and Mary (Steve) Heatherly of Kelso; grandchildren, Jonathon (Laura) Wright, Adam (Katie) Wright, Charlie (Amanda) Mitchell, Wesley Mitchell, Jeremy (Sunny) Mitchell, David (Beth) Wright, Dixie (Travis) Floyd, Kenneth Scheller, Mark Willard, Melissa (Brandon) Fox, Jennifer York, William (Brittany) Wright, Brittany Hensley, Christopher Hensley, Jason (Liz) Pogue, Alan George; Crystal (Jedidiah) English, Amber Baker, Brianna (Kazz) Hargrove, and Colton (Courtnee) Baker; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Tony (June) Altringer of Cloquet, MN, John (Carol) Altringer of Denver, CO, and Betty (late Ronnie) Emms of Bakersfield, CA; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brown Wright; children, Norman Wright, Ellen Wright, and Tommy Wright; granddaughter, Brandy George; and siblings, Ferdinand Altringer, Norman Altringer, and Darryl DePew.
Visitation with the family will be from 5 PM until 8 PM on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Higgins Funeral Home.
