It is with regret that we announce the death of Mrs. Mary Helen Stephens age 86, of Fayetteville formerly of Dalton, GA. Mrs. Stephens passed away Friday evening at Donaldson Skill Center.

A native of Hardin County she was the daughter of the late Susie (Baugus) and Oscar “Goldie” Qualls. She was retired from the Shaw carpet mill and was a member of the Welcome Hill Baptist Church in Dalton, GA.

Survivors include her sister Margaret Blackburn of Fayetteville, niece Janice White of New Market, AL, nephews Murray Blackwelder of Fayetteville, Mark Blackwelder of Fayetteville and David Blackwelder of Mulberry, daughter-in-law Joyce Pettit of Dalton, GA and several other nieces and nephews.

Service information will be announced later by Love’s Funeral Home in Dalton, GA. Higgins Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
