Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Christine Mitchell Rose, age 79, of High Point, N.C. will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 PM at Higgins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wrights Cemetery. Mrs. Rose passed away Wednesday July 16, 2008 at Hoots Memorial Hospital in Yadkinville, North Carolina.

Mrs. Rose was a native of Giles County, Tennessee and was the daughter of the late James Marion Frances and Katie Lou Brooks Mitchell.

Survivors include her husband Willie Joe Rose, Jr. of High Point, N.C., one son: Donnie Rose of High Point, N.C., two grandsons, three great grandsons, two brothers: Jessie Mitchell of Yadkinville, N.C. and Joe Mitchell of Ardmore, AL and one sister: Ruby Hopper of Fayetteville, Tennessee.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday afternoon from 1-2PM at the Higgins Funeral Home, P.O. 119 Fayetteville, Tennessee.
