Marion Lee Talley Connelly, age 59, of Fayetteville, TN, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. A native of Fayetteville, TN, Marion was the daughter of the late Rex and Patsy Henson Talley.
Marion was a 1985 graduate of Lincoln County High School and earned an Accounting degree from Middle Tennessee State University, where she was also a cheerleader. She made a lifetime career at Old Time Pottery, starting her employment there while in college.
Marion is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Kevin Clark Connelly; her precious sons, Caleb Austin Connelly and Jacob Henson Connelly of Fayetteville, TN; her sister, Pam (Mike) Storey of Columbia, TN; her nephews, Ryan (Lauren) Storey, Brent (Heather) Storey, Tyler (Brittain) Storey, and Chase (Renee) Hooten; along with numerous family members and dear friends.
In addition to her parents, Marion was preceded in death by her sister, Kimberly Ann (Talley) Hooten, as well as her grandparents, Charles and Lyndall Talley and Ellis and Annette Henson.
Although Marion’s time here was short, she cherished every day while enjoying being a loving wife and mother, celebrating life to the fullest with a multitude of friends, and always sharing a beautiful smile and a kind heart with all she touched.
Visitation for Marion Connelly will be conducted Friday, October 9, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home in Fayetteville, TN. The Celebration of Life service will begin at 2:00 p.m. immediately following visitation. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Fayetteville, TN.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Marion Connelly to Rose Hill Cemetery, P.O. Box 270, Fayetteville, TN 37334, or in memory of Marion Connelly to the Lupus Research Alliance (www.lupusresearch.org).

Marion was a lifelong classmate. We enter kindergarten together and graduated together. Only the institutions we chose for college separated or education paths. The same for Kevin. My sincere condolences to her family. Class of ’85 some of the best, many Christ Followers!
