Obituary

Funeral services for Marie W. Hensley, age 89 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Wednesday June 17, 2015 at 11 AM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Will Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Old Orchard Cemetery beside her husband Charles M. Hensley who passed away in 1992. Mrs. Hensley passed away Sunday June 14, 2015 at St. Thomas Hospital.
She was a native of Maury County and was the daughter of the late Shirley “Dick” and Annie Richardson Wilkes. Mrs. Hensley had a Tennessean paper route, was a sales lady for Kuhn’s and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son Charles Ray Hensley of Fayetteville, daughter Charla Kay Hensley of Fayetteville, two grandchildren Tangela Warren and Christie Williams, two great grandchildren Tyler Williams, Jayden Warren, one sister Shirley Ann Sharp of Lewisburg and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by son Roger Wilkes Hensley and brother Luther Fred Wilkes.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening June 16, 2015 at Higgins Funeral Home from 5-8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
