Obituary

Graveside funeral service for Mrs. Marian Goodrich Hopkins age 52 of Flintville, will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Rudy Elam officiating. Mrs Hopkins passed away Friday evening in Huntsville Hospital.

A native of Lincoln County. Mrs. Hopkins was the daughter of the late John Calvin and Marilyn Holt Goodrich who survivors, was employed by Lee manufacturing and Rogers Group.

Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband George Hopkins of Flintville, daughter Jennifer and Lucas Hamlin of Kelso, son George Ryan Hopkins of Madison, AL, grand children Evan and Blair Hamlin , brother John Goodrich of Lynchburg, TN, and nephew Zachary Good.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 12 – 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.

    I was so sorry to hear about Marian’s passing. I have such fond memories of our playing with baby dolls and making mud pies when we lived on Morningside Drive so many years ago.
