Obituary

Funeral services for Margaret Waid Taylor, age 78 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens beside her husband Dan Taylor who passed away in 2005. Mrs. Taylor passed away Sunday night at her residence.

A native of Lincoln County, Mrs. Taylor was the daughter of the late Holman Waid and Kathleen Buntley Waid. Mrs. Taylor taught school in Atlanta for more than twenty years, and worked in the family restaurant “Justine’s” in Memphis for twenty years and was a former resident of Hilton Head, SC. She was a member of the Mimosa Church of Christ.

Survivors include her sister Elaine Bevill of Fayetteville, two nephews Waid Ray of Collierville, TN and Kirt Ray and wife Renee of Fayetteville, great-niece Lauren Ray of Collierville, TN and several cousins.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 11 AM until 1 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
