Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Margaret W. Parsons, age 86 of Fayetteville will be conducted at 11 AM Saturday at Riverview Memorial Gardens with Bob DeJarnatt officiating. Mrs. Parsons will be buried beside her husband Hillard Parsons, Jr who passed away in 1999.  Mrs. Parsons passed away Thursday afternoon at Huntsville Hospital.

A daughter of the late R.A. and Peggy Neff Wilkerson, she was a native of Pryor, OK and a longtime resident of Fayetteville. She was a homemaker and a member of Washington Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include four sons John R. Parsons and wife Emily of Scottsboro, AL, Hillard L. Parsons, William J. Parsons and wife Karen, and Jack N. Parsons and wife Kathy all of Fayetteville, six grandchildren, Hardee A. Parsons and wife Jena of West Palm Beach, FL, Courtney Parsons, Jared Parsons, Ashley Parsons, Robert Parsons, and Rachel Parsons all of Fayetteville. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister Neva Hamilton and brother Luke Wilkerson.

Visitation with the family will be from 9-11 AM Saturday morning at Higgins Funeral Home.

It is Mrs. Parsons’ request that memorials be made to the Washington Street Church of Christ Building Fund in lieu of flowers.
