Our beloved mother Margaret Radar Richardson (Peggy) of Taft, TN died Saturday, August 19, 2023, after a long illness. She was born May 30, 1935, to the late Micheal Radar and late Margaret Mary Radar Richardson. She was a retired nurses aid and was a member of the Taft Church of Christ. She enjoyed baking for her family, friends, and neighbors, and house cleaning. She also loved going to the dance with her lifelong friend Shirley Thorpe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvie Loyd Richardson; second husband, Wilson Massey; stepfather, Hugh Richardson; brothers Mike Radar, William (Bill) Richardson.

She is survived by her sons, Jackie Loyd Richardson (Debbie), Ricke Joe Richardson (Laurie), Mark Clayton Richardson (Diane); daughter, Mary Kay Beavers (Tim); grandchildren, Steven Eric Richardson, Clay Beavers, Lucas Beavers (Kirsten), Lori Beth Collins (Tim), Thomas Loyd Richardson, Sara Lynn Richardson, Savannah Richardson, Brianna Richardson; great-grandchildren Jaxson Beavers, Carson Beavers, Zoe Beavers, Kaden Beavers; sisters, Jeanne Denier and Kay Shaw; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 4pm on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Brock Neubauer officiating. Burial will follow at Carter Hills Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 2pm until 4pm on Wednesday at Higgins.
