Mrs. Margaret Douglas Lee, age 85, of Fayetteville died Thursday night at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in New market, AL.  Visitation will be conducted Saturday evening 5:30PM -6:30pm at Higgins Funeral Home with funeral services being conducted at 6:30pm with Bro. Larry Smith officiating.  A private family burial will be conducted Sunday in Kelso Cemetery beside her husband Col. Howard M. Lee who died in 1999.  

     Mrs. Lee was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Byrd and Sarah S.  Moyers Douglas.  She was a life Master Bridge Player, an extensive traveler and a homemaker.  

     Survivors include a daughter Ann Morgan and husband Tim of New Market, AL., grandson Robert Lee Morris of Fayetteville, sister Jane Douglas Moore and husband Glenn of Fayetteville, sister-in-law Ruth Ables Douglas of Fayetteville, one niece and one nephew.
