Funeral service for Mrs. Mamie Sue Smith age 82, of Flintville, will be conducted Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home, with Rev. Winfred Stayton officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Smith passed away November 29, 2015 at her residence.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Madison Taylor and Mattie Mearse Taylor, a homemaker, and member of the Gum Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter Marie Ann Smith, grandchildren Victoria Marie Wolfe, Billy Joe Wolfe, brother James Taylor, sisters Mildred Bunn, Robbie Bartlett, Sally May and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 1 until 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
So sorry to hear of Ms. Sue’s death. She was devoted to our church & she will be greatly missed by all. May God put His loving arms around you all in this very difficult time. We love you all.
