Funeral services for Mrs. Macie Beatrice Womack , age 90 of Elora, will be conducted at 1 PM Tuesday at Gum Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Winfred Stayton officiating. Burial will follow in Gum Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Womack passed away at her home in Elora on Saturday morning.

A native of Lincoln County she was the daughter of John Lewis and Mary Ova (Bennett) Johnson who precede her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of the Gum Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived b her two sons Billy Joe Womack of Flintville and Andrew Warren of Elora, TN, seventeen grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 7 great –great grandchildren one sister Betty Cagle of Fayetteville and one brother Fred Johnson of Kelso. She was preceded in death by two sons Henry and Johnny Womack, two sisters Bessie Simmons, Mary Presnal, and one brother Lewis Johnson.

Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 5-8 pm at Higgins Funeral Home. Mrs. Womack will lie in state at the Gum Springs Baptist Church from 10 am until time of service at 1 pm.
