Obituary

Funeral services for Luella Malone Gulley, age 72 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Wednesday at 11 AM at Higgins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Campbell Cemetery. Mrs. Gulley passed away Sunday evening in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.

She was a native of Madison County, AL and the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Eileen White Malone. Mrs. Gulley was a homemaker and a member of the Corders Crossroads Church of Christ.

Survivors include her children, Deborah Pirtle of Fayetteville, Joe Gulley of Fayetteville, Thomas Gulley of Fayetteville, Susan Miller of McEwen, Richard Gulley of Fayetteville, Michael Gulley of Fayetteville, Stephen Gulley of Kelso, Daniel Gulley of Harvest, AL and Cindy Bullard of Fayetteville, 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, sister Carolyn Cantrell of Hazel Green, AL and brother Kenny Malone of Huntsville, AL.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening 5-8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.

    I am sorry to hear about your mother, I just wanted to let you know that each and everyone of you are in my prayers.Some say that praying is all they can do but I believe that praying is the greatest thing that can be done at times like this.Remember The LORD is always with you
    HE promised us this in John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
