Louise babysat my son at the age of 6wks, she loved and cared for him like a 2nd Mom. He had to be hospitalized at the age of 2mos and she would go daily and sit with him there. She loved with all her heart those she cared for and I will always have a special place in my heart for the warm love she gave my son. RIP sweet Louise

I was one of those foster kids she took in and loved as her own. When DCS came and took me I cried. She cried. I asked her why couldn’t I stay? Her answer was simple. “Tasha, you have a mom that loves you and wants you back home wit her”. I wasn’t a child in foster care because of my parents. I was there because I done wrong. I remember watching Louise and JC and thinking I wanted a love like theirs. I wanted a heart like hers. She was a true inspiration to anyone that came into their home. They always took us in with open arms and the reason we were in foster care didn’t matter. She changed my life. She changed my heart. I remember my foster sister Christina whom I was so jealous of because Lousie got to be her mom. I wanted her as my mom. Although, I loved my mom very much she was nothing like Louise. Weeks after I left the Stewart home I cried. When I was taken from them I was going back home to my mother but in my heart Louise was the mother I had always wanted. I can’t believe she’s gone. My heart breaks for her family and myself. She was a one of a kind woman who I will never forget. I love you Louise and I know you are in heaven right now with JC smiling and if I know JC he can’t take his eyes off of you. God took the best woman that walked this earth. Prayers for the family.

I am so saddened by the passing of my friend and fan, Louise Stewart. She supported me and my career in country music for many years, and I never had a more loyal person in my corner. I will miss her warm, friendly smile at my concerts, along with those of the children and foster children she brought to see me. Rest in peace, my friend, and thank you.
