It is with regret we announce the passing of Mrs. Lillian Hortense Corbin Lemmons, age 91, of Fayetteville. Mrs. Lemmons was born on January 16, 1927 in the Blanche Community to the late Everette and Lola Mae Owen Corbin. She loved to quilt and spend time with her family and friends. Mrs. Lemmons passed away on January 21, 2018, surrounded by her loving family, at her residence.

Family include her children Brenda (the late Irvin) Massey of Fayetteville, Fran (Jackie) Delap of Mulberry, Bonnie (Phillip) Manley of Florence, AL, Louise Cothren of Fayetteville, Johnny (Melissa) Lemmons of Florence, Glenn (Debbie) Lemmons of Fayetteville, Teresa (the late Jody) Anderson of Florence and the late Paula Lemmons; grandchildren, the late Roger and the late Randy Franklin, Angela (Jeff) Hummel, the late Lori Fenner, Kyle (Lynn) Lewter, Kennan Haymaker, Amanda (Jim) Deckard, Melinda (John) Glover, Phyllis (Mark) Russell, Travis (Polly) Hardiman, the late Scott Cothren, Richard (Kelly) Cothren, Josh (Jordan) Lemmons, Matt Lemmons, David Lemmons, Ashley Lemmons, Tina (Pat) Aday, Kurt (Meagen) Anderson, Chad (Wendy) Thompson, and Corey Thompson; and 25 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, and family mentioned above, Mrs. Lemmons was preceded in death by ten siblings.

A private burial service was held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Blanche Cemetery. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Lillian Hortense Corbin Lemmons.
