Funeral service for Mrs. Laurine Spray, age 94, of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted at 12 PM on Friday, January 25, 2019, at Higgins Funeral Home with Dr. Jon Hathcock officiating. Burial will follow next to her husband, William “Bill” Clarence Spray, in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Spray was born on January 10, 1925 in Lincoln County, TN to the late William Russell and Launa Andrews Brown. She was a homemaker and a member of Fayetteville First Baptist Church. Mrs. Spray passed away on January 19, 2019.
Survivors include her children, Patti Jackson of Fayetteville, TN, Amy (Robert) Anderson of Jacksonville, FL, and Russ (Donna) Spray of Winchester, TN; grandchildren, Abra (Logan) Zawacki, Rusty (Morgan) Spray, and Brooke (Jay) Jones; great-grandchildren, Griffin Zawacki, Mackenzie McCleary, Ali Spray, Parker Spray, Madison Taylor, Carter Jones, and Austin Jones; and sister, Doris Perry. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Bessie Brown.
Visitation with the family will be held at 4 PM until 7 PM on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Higgins Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601. Higgins is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Spray.
Amy, I am so sorry to hear about your Mother and I hate I missed the service. She always made me feel at hone in your home. Some of my best childhood memories. Much love.
