Memorial services for Mr. Larry Eugene Sheaks, age 70, of Fayetteville will be conducted Friday morning at 11:30AM at Higgins Funeral Home with Father Jim Rogers officiating. Mr. Sheaks passed away Tuesday.

He was a native of Gary, IN, son of the late Harold Arthur and Alice Niemeyer Sheaks, Sr., and a member of the St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. He was a retired Aerospace Engineer with Garrett Air Research and was involved in various community organizations and clubs.

He is survived by his wife Mattie E. Sheaks of Fayetteville, two sons Roger (Carol) Sheaks of Mission Viejo, CA and Darryl Sheaks of Bay City, TX; grandchildren Bryan, Kerri, John and Connor Sheaks; three brothers Harold Arthur Sheaks, Jr of Las Vegas, NV, Dennis Dean Sheaks of Johns Island, SC, and Jerry Wayne Sheaks of Coppell, TX. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter Sheaks.

Visitation with the family will be Friday from 10AM-11:30AM at Higgins Funeral Home.
