Funeral services for Kenneth “Dirk” Grubaugh, Jr., age 58, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 2PM Thursday at Higgins Funeral Home with Pastor James Lauria officiating. Burial will follow in Smith’s Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Grubaugh died Monday in Huntsville Hospital.
He was a native of Ypsilanti, MI and the son of Kenneth Dale Grubaugh and wife Patricia and Mary Ruth Roland Broderick and husband Robert. He was a self employed farmer and contractor.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife Beverly Hall Grubaugh of Fayetteville, two sons Kenneth “Duke” Grubaugh III of North Carolina and Rick Allen Grubaugh of Fayetteville, grandmother Lena Martin, four grandchildren Mia, Marla, Miranda and Riley Grubaugh, one brother Terry Russell Grubaugh of Fayetteville, half-brother Thomas Lee Grubaugh of MI, half-sister Kelly Grubaugh of MI, two step-brothers Mike Jordan of MI and Andy Broderick, two step-sisters Cheryl Jordan of MI and Susan Broderick, sister-in-law Cheryl Russell of MI. Mr. Grubaugh was preceded in death by a brother Monte Gene Grubaugh.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
