Obituary

Funeral services for Kathy J. Talley, age 61 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Black officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Miss Talley passed away Friday in Vanderbilt Medical Center.
A native of Lincoln County she was the daughter of the late John Arthur and Katherine Campbell Talley. Miss Talley was a former employee of Duck River Electric and a member of the Washington Street Church of Christ. She was involved in many activities including the Fayetteville Kiwanis Club, helping the Petersburg Lions Club with their annual youth basketball tournament, treasurer Lincoln County Democratic Women, United Way, Heart Fund, Easter Seals and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Survivors include brother Duncan A. Talley of Fayetteville, niece Sarah T. Evans of Hohenwald, TN, great-nephew Cameron Evans and great-niece Kylie Wash both of Hohenwald, TN. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday 5-8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
