Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Katherine Cowley, age 80, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 1:00PM Saturday at Kelso Cemetery with Bro. James Barnes officiating.  Mrs. Cowley passed away Thursday afternoon at Lincoln Medical Center.

A native of Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late William and Kate Jordan, a homemaker, and a member of Brogan Ave. Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons Blake Cowley and wife Patty of Kelso and Dale Cowley of Fayetteville, grandchildren Blake Cowley and Kayla Cowley both of Kelso, great-granddaughter Elizabeth Cowley of Kelso, special nieces Sue Martin and husband John of Cornersville and Dorothy Jones and husband Clyde of Union Grove, AL, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cowley was preceded in death by sisters Eleanor Dempsey, Mildred Bowden and Elizabeth Lowe and brothers Billy Joe Jordan, Alton Jordan, Elbert Jordan and Buford Jordan.

Visitation with the family will be from 11-12:30 PM Saturday afternoon at Higgins Funeral Home.
