Obituary

Juanita Carol Napierala, age 84, of Kelso, TN passed from this life on September 17, 2024, at HH Lincoln Health in Fayetteville, TN. She was born May 13, 1940, in Madison County, AL. After retiring from Bethlehem Steel in Burns Harbor, IN she moved with her husband, Ted, to Tennessee. Juanita enjoyed a quiet life at home, but she and Ted loved to visit casinos once or twice a year. She will be missed by family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Theodore “Ted” Napierala; children, Anita Jones, Harold Chappel, and Marilyn Jones; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Gary Whitworth and Harold “Buddy” Whitworth; and half-brother, Johnny Whitworth. Those preceding her in death were her parents, Andrew Carroll Whitworth and Laura Mae McAnalley Whitworth; brother Andrew Ray Whitworth and sisters Elizabeth Earline Gimbert and Patsy Frame.

Visitation with the family will be from 10am until 11am on Monday, September 23, 2024, at Higgins Funeral Home with a Rosary Service at 11am with Reverend Father George Panthananickal presiding. Committal Services will be held at 2pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Wanatah, IN on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, with Deacon Dale Walsh presiding.
