    Joyce was a wonderful example of what humble and pure Christian love is and should be. She was an inspiration to all that knew her. She did not know the meaning of the word can’t.

    The first time I saw this poem Joyce was already very sick. I immediately thought of her and how I knew someone with as much goodness as he had would never truly be gone. Everytime since that I have read this I think of Joyce and always will.

    Do not stand at my grave and weep
    I am not there. I do not sleep.
    I am a thousand winds that blow.
    I am the diamond glints on snow.
    I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
    I am the gentle autumn rain.
    When you awaken in the morning’s hush
    I am the swift uplifting rush
    Of quiet birds in circled flight.
    I am the soft stars that shine at night.
    Do not stand at my grave and cry;
    I am not there. I did not die.
