It is with regret that we announce the passing of Joyce Ann Forrester Davis Grimes, age 87, of Fayetteville, TN. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 PM on Monday, June 21, 2021 at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Clardy officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Cemetery.

Mrs. Grimes was born April 20, 1934 to the late Virgil and Flossie Forrester. She was married to her husband, Delbert for 23 years. She loved fellowship, going to church, reading and visiting. She was a member of Calvary Baptist and worked as an adult caregiver and childcare attendant. Mrs. Grimes passed away on June 18, 2021.

Survivors include her husband, Delbert Grimes; Sons, William H. (Charlene) Davis, Jr. of Fayetteville, Richard Wayne (Juwanna) Davis of Huntsville, AL, Johnny D. (Patricia) Grimes of Meridianville, AL, Jeffery (Tracey) Grimes of Hazel Green, AL; Daughter, Bonnie L. (Paul) Conley of Taft; Sister, Doris (Ross) Uselton of Huntsville, AL; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, William H. Davis; 1 sister and 3 brothers.

Visitation with the family and friends will be held from 12 PM – 2 PM on Monday, June 21, 2021 at Higgins Funeral Home.
