Obituary

Graveside services for Jonathan Wayne Price, age 54 of Petersburg, will be conducted Wednesday at 11 AM at Higgins Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens with Higgins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Price passed away Sunday night in Huntsville Hospital.

He was a native of Chicago, IL and the son of the late John Robert and Ernestine Metcalf Price. Mr. Price was self-employed and was a member of the Howell Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife Joyce Price of Petersburg, three daughters, Jennifer Bowman of Elora, Bonnie Randolph and Christina Wells both of Cornersville, step-daughter Bobbie Jo Stinnett of Petersburg, 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 9 am-10:30 am at Higgins Funeral Home.

    thank you so very much johnny for aways being there for moma, the kids and me ..we are at a loss not know how we all we go on with out you ,and that crazy ,that only you could give us ..when i look at the kids i see you not be caz of blood you were the one that took and show my little boyz to be men ..my baby gurl your lou-lou to be a fighter …my moma to love ..me how to grow up and stop worring what ppl were saying about me ..i hope that you have you wings now …caz we all no that you worked hard to gett them ..in saying this we also know you played harder that ..the man we’r going to miss..all the family get-2-gethers with so tonite as we lay down to slep a new angle watches over us …bobbi jo ,jay,tommy joe,jacob,josh,destiny,deorah,tiger rena ,jr ,and joyce price ….you give us so much gone -but-never -4-gotton
