Services for Mr. John Mac Hamlin, Jr, age 57, of Fayetteville will be conducted Thursday at 2PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Crabtree officiating. Burial will follow in Carter Hills Cemetery. Mr. Hamlin passed away Monday at his residence.

He was a native of Lincoln County and the son of the late John Mac Hamlin Sr. and Doris Pinkstaff Hamlin who survives. Mr. Hamlin was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife Jeanette Peppers Hamlin of Fayetteville, children, Jessica Kay Schumake and husband Jesse of Moore County, Teshia Shelton and husband Matt, of Lawrenceburg, Donia Bradford and husband Dennis of Petersburg, Baron Bradley and wife Belinda of Lawrenceburg, grandchildren Jay and Ethan Laymon of Moore County, Jonathan Bradford of Smyrna, Brittany Randolph of Lewisburg, Brad, Trevor and Sara Kate Shelton all of Lawrenceburg, Tiffany and Ashley Bradley of Lawrenceburg, one brother Wesley Hamlin of Fayetteville and five sisters Cindy Davis, Connie Rogers, Heather Brown all of Fayetteville, Mary Odum of Collierville and Holly Potts of Murfreesboro and his special pet dog Shenny.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
