Graveside memorial service for Mr. John Herbert Lowry age, 82, of Fayetteville, will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday at Melson Cemetery, with Dr, Ronnie Gay officiating. Mr. Lowry passed away March 22, 2016 at Lincoln Medical Center.

Mr. Lowry was a native of Cook Co, IL and son of the late Thomas Gurley and Mary Elizabeth Kelly Lowry. He worked for Bob Harrison Ford, Eagle Snacks and drove for North American Van Lines. Mr. Lowry enjoyed wood working, tinkering with automotives and taking care of his family.

Survivors include his children Linda (Walter) Moore of Springhill, FL, Keith (Theresa) Lowry of Fayetteville, TN, Colleen Rubino of Wesley Chapel, FL, Kevin Lowry of Columbia, TN, and Patrick (Lisa) Lowry of Fayetteville, TN; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Darlene Louise Lowry; a son Kerry Lowry; and brothers Bob, Al and Eddie Lowry.

Visitation with the family will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at Prospect Baptist Church. Higgins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to the American Cancer Society.
