Funeral services for Mr. Joe Perry Cartwright, age 74, of Fayetteville will be conducted Thursday morning at 11AM at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Booneville Cemetery. Mr. Cartwright passed away Tuesday morning in Lincoln Care Center.

He was a native of Lincoln County and the son of the late Ed and Mattie Kate Simmons Cartwright. Mr. Cartwright retired from the Lincoln County Highway Department, was a member of the Tennessee National Guard and a member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Nora Bell Martin Cartwright of Fayetteville, two daughters, Bobbie Jo Jones and Kathy Dianne Thompson and husband Mike all of Fayetteville, four sons, Jerry Wayne Cartwright and wife Shelia, Danny Ray Cartwright, Eddie Joe Cartwright and wife Pam all of Fayetteville, and Jerry Cartwright and wife Amanda of McBurg, brother Floyd Cartwright of Fayetteville, ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
