It is with regret we announce the death of Joe M. Honey, age 59 of Fayetteville, who passed away Saturday May 25th at his residence. He was a native of Lincoln County and the son of the late Joe Dean and Martha Lou Bain Honey. He is survived by two aunts Mora Bradley of Elora, and Frances Jones of Madison, TN, one uncle Wayne Honey of Fayetteville and a host of cousins
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday June 6, 2013 at 2 PM at Kelso Cemetery. There will be no visitation prior to services.

Mark was my next door neighbor when he was growing up,he would ride to school with us. He was such a smart young man. He would always stay in touch with me, he called me just a few weeks ago. I know Mark had some hard knocks, some he brought on himself but I still felt very close to him. I went to him when Jerry died and we had some good talking time together. I will miss Mark and it makes me sad he had been so sick lately. Mark does not have much family left but I will always feel he was close to my family.
