Obituary

Funeral services for JoAnn Cannon, age 72 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Thursday at 2 PM at Higgins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kelso Cemetery beside her husband J. B. Cannon who passed away in 2007. Mrs. Cannon passed away Monday morning in St. Thomas Hospital.

A native of Lincoln County, Mrs. Cannon was the daughter of the late John Wilson and Ozell Shelton Street. She was a homemaker and a member of the Liberty Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons Rocky (Patsy) Cannon of Fayetteville and Mark (Lyn) Cannon of Fayetteville, four grandchildren Logan Cannon, Brayden Cannon, B.J. Cannon and Steven Cannon, five great-grandchildren Blane Cannon, Bently Cannon, Noah Cannon, AnnaLeigh Cannon and Olivia Cannon, sisters Doris Ellis and Janice Campbell, brothers Jimmy, Joe, Johnny and Robert Street. Mrs. Cannon was preceded in death by her husband J.B Cannon and daughter Tammy Cannon, sisters Elizabeth Miller, Glenda Vaughn and brother Donald Street.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
