It is with regret we announce the passing of Ms. Jo Ann Ashby Riddle, age 69, of Fayetteville, TN. Ms. Riddle was born on March 23, 1951 in Lincoln County, TN to the late Jimmy Lee and Sarah Crabtree Ashby. She loved Elvis music and was of the Baptist Faith. Ms. Riddle passed away on March 25, 2020.
Survivors include her sons, Rev. William Keith (Paula) Wilson of Springfield, TN, and Christopher Wayne (Tiffany) Price of Tullahoma, TN; sisters, Judy Spurlock and Lesa Downes both of Guntersville, AL; brother, Tony Ashby of S.C.; half-sisters, Charlotte Chavez of Elkmont, AL, Priscilla Chivallia of Athens, AL; half-brother, Franke Ashby of Elkmont; grandchildren, Lisa Phelps, Scarlett Price, Benjamin Price, Sarabeth Price, Christopher Price, II, Katy Potter, LaShay (Eddie) Liston, and Brad Wilson; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Pat Woodall; half-sister, Shelby Gordon; and half-brother, Dwight Ashby.
Private burial services are being held at Flintville Cemetery with Bro. Sonny Moore Officiating. There will be no public gathering due to COVID-19.

Jo Anne and I, along with many others, started first grade together at Robert E. Lee Elementary School in 1957. She was always very kind.
I am very sorry to read of Jo Anne’s passing.
