Jewell Evans Bain, Age 85, of the Molino Community, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Donalson Care Center, Fayetteville, TN. She was born Jewell Dean Evans on August 4, 1932 in Lincoln County, TN to Curtis and Wilma Pamplin Evans. She married William Lawrence Bain, the love of her life, on August 12, 1950. They lovingly reared their four children in Lansing, IL. Jewell was a homemaker and a certified Nurses Aide. She was a member of Molino Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Mankser and Judy Bain; sons, Gregory (Lisa) and Jeffery (Teresa) Bain; grandchildren, Jason (Stephanie) Mankser, Jennifer (Blake) Huettel, Amy, Nicholas and Elizabeth Bain, Justin, Cameron, Corey, Tyler, Amber (John) Counts, Kaylee and Jeffery Bain; sister, Velva Burch; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sisters, Helen Dye, Ina Towry; and brother, Lee Evans.
Services were conducted on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Self officiating. Burial followed in State Line Cemetery.
Grandma loved and lived for her family with all her heart. A wife with endless love and unwavering support to grandpa, a caring mother to her children and grandmother to us (many) grandchildren. That was grandma, that was my Moomoo (nickname given by cousin Jen many moons ago). I am grateful for the many memories and time spent with her. And while she will be deeply missed, there is great comfort and solace in knowing she is in a better place & reunited with grandpa (you two behave up there now! Lol). May you Rest In Peace grandma – I love and miss you dearly.
