Funeral services for Mr. Jerry L. Chapman, age 61, of the Bellville Community will be conducted Saturday at 10AM at Higgins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Booneville Cemetery. Mr. Chapman passed away Wednesday December 17^th in Lincoln Medical Center.

He was a native of Lincoln County and the son of the late James Cecil and Glendon Melson Chapman. Mr. Chapman was a veteran of the Vietnam War, self-employed farmer, carpenter and sawmill operator. He was a member of the Mt. Hebron Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife Alice Groce Chapman of Bellville, two children Terri (Rick) Carlton of Murfreesboro and Teena (Burk) Williams of College Grove, grandchildren Andrew and David Carlton, sister Glenda Dolores (I.B.) Lewis of Belleville, and two brothers Dale Chapman of Murfreesboro and Melson Chapman of Nashville.

Visitation with the family will be Friday 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home. The family request all who attend please wear casual attire.
