Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Albert Harry, age 78, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 3 PM Monday at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Ward officiating.  Burial will follow in Cedar Hills Cemetery.  Mr. Harry passed away Friday evening at Huntsville Hospital.

A son of the late Lenpha Carl and Merle Shreve Harry, he was a native of Boonville, IN, a retired horseman, and a member of Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.  Mr. Harry was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather.  He was a former member of the US Trotting Association and TN Harness Horsemen.  He was the fastest trotting record holder for Lincoln County Fairgrounds for 25+ years.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years Martha Maybelle Reese Harry of Fayetteville, children Dr. Mike Harry and wife Violet, Dan Harry and wife Jackie, Jerrie Lynn Harry Russell, all of Fayetteville, Susan Merritt of Brentwood, and Chris Harry and wife Maria of Charlotte, NC, grandchildren Patrick Harry, Emily Wiggs, Reese Harry, Heath Mann, Daniel Harry, Morgan Russell, Tarek Harry, Sarah and Abby Merritt, Tebin, Joshua, and Cristina Harry, 4 great-grandchildren, and sister Phyllis Myers of Kokomo, IN.

Visitation with the family will be from 1-3 PM Monday at Higgins Funeral Home.
