Jearlene Shelton Gilley, age 84, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2017 at Lincoln Care Center. She was the daughter of the late John Robert and Allie Hobbs Shelton, a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church and retired nurse from Huntsville Hospital.

Survivors include her daughter, Glenda Davidson of Goodlettsville, TN; and grandchildren, Selena Landers, Terry and Bobby Crawford and Robert and Allen Shelton. She was preceded in death by her son, Rocky Paul Gilley; daughter, Kim Landers; brothers, Floyd, James, Oliver, Luther and T.A. Shelton; and her beloved dog, Ginger.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Jearlene Shelton Gilley.
