Jean Warren Halcomb, age 84, currently of Charlotte, NC, entered into her eternal rest at her residence on Monday Jan. 17, 2011.  Born in Lincoln County, TN, the youngest daughter of Peter and Ida Warren, where she resided until moving to Chattanooga, TN in 1967 with her beloved husband Clyde Halcomb. After Clyde passed away in 2006, Jean continued to live in Chattanooga until 2008 when she moved to Charlotte to be nearer her son Tony.

She was preceded in death by her 5 brothers Dee, Goodrich, Frank, Horace Lee and Charlie and her sister Lucille Warren Kelly.

She is survived by her daughter, Pam Halcomb Hood and her husband David of Knoxville, TN, her son Tony Halcomb and wife Anita of Charlotte, NC. She is blessed with two granddaughters, Niki Gray and Christie Halcomb, three step-grandchildren, Matthew Halcomb, Megan Hood and Erin Bradford along with two great grandchildren, Alexis Tinsley and Gavin Bradford.

Funeral services will be conducted by Higgins Funeral Home in Fayetteville, TN on January 20, 2011 at 11am with Rev. Billy Langford officiating. Burial will followed in Flintville Cemetery beside her husband Clyde Halcomb.

Visitation with the family will be at Higgins Funeral Home on January 19th starting at 5pm. In lieu of flowers donations maybe be made to the Flintville Baptist Church, Flintville, TN .
