Obituary
It is with regret we announce the death of Mr. Jason Andrew Myers, age 32, of Nashville, Tennessee; formerly of Fayetteville. Jason passed away Sunday after a courageous battle with melanoma cancer.
He was a native of Lincoln County and the son of Janice Gray Myers. Jason was employed at Document Solutions, Incorporated in Nashville, TN. He was a graduate of Lincoln County High School and attended Tennessee Tech University and Middle Tennessee State University. Jason loved his family and friends; to include his two dogs, Mini and Marly. He was an avid football and baseball fan and enjoyed outdoor activities.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his special friend and loving caretaker Tish Alexander of Nashville, brother Chris Neely and wife Missy of Fayetteville, sister Stephanie Matschinegg and husband Bob of Smyrna, TN, Aunts Jacki Wilbourne of Lawrenceville, GA, Jill Stewart of Huntsville, AL, and Janet Gray of Lynchburg, TN, nieces Lauren and Lindsey Neely, Vanessa and Blakely Matschinegg, nephew Josh Matschinegg, numerous cousins and a host of dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Annie Stephens and Herman Harvey Gray.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to Alive Hospice, Inc., 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203 or your favorite charity.
In Nashville, there will be a visitation and memorial service at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN on Tuesday evening from 4-7 PM and the memorial service immediately following.
In Fayetteville, the visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 3-6 PM at Higgins Funeral Home and a graveside service immediately following at Riverview Cemetery.
