It is with regret that we announce the death of Mrs. Janice Burton Capley, age 79 of Fayetteville, TN. A private family service is planned for a later date.

Janice was born on April 20, 1941 in Fayetteville, TN to the late Edison Earl and Mildred Abbott Burton. She worked as an administrative assistant with the Missile Defense System. Janice was a member of the Fayetteville First Baptist Church. She enoyed gardening, tending her flowers, and watching TV, but her greatest love was going out to eat with her family. Janice passed away on April 11, 2021 at Lincoln Medical Center.

Janice is survived by her children, Cydney Adams of Manchester, TN, Daniel (Jennifer) Capley of Hazel Green, AL, and Bradley Cates (Sheree) Capley of Roswell, NM; grandchildren, Carly Capley, Zachary Price, Nicholas Price, Dalton Capley, and Dillon Capley; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Patsy Farrar. In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Capley; son, Stephen Darnell Capley; brothers, Don Burton and Tommy Burton; and son-in-law, David Adams.
