Mr. Mullins set the example of what a teacher and principal should be to their students and staff. I was blessed to have him as a teacher and principal at Blanche. He was dedicated to his job but first of all to his Lord and Savior. He made a lasting impression on all of us. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

MR. MULLINS WAS A FAIR AND DECENT MAN. OF COURSE AS PRINCIPAL HE HAD TO SEEM A LITTLE TOUGH. BUT WE ALL KNEW HE HAD A HEART OF GOLD. I WAS IN THE LAST GRADUATING CLASS AT BLANCHE IN 1979. I KNOW IT BROKE MY HEART AND MANY OTHERS TO SEE OUR GREAT SCHOOL CLOSE HIGH SCHOOL. AND YES, I WAS IN HIS OFFICE ONCE. NEVER AGAIN!!! I WOULD HAVE RATHER HAD A PADDLIN THAN A TALK. HE GOT THROUGH TO A LOT OF KIDS. HE WAS JUST A REALY GOOD MAN AND IT IS OUR LOSS AND HEAVEN’S GAIN. GOD BLESS THE FAMILY AND KNOW THAT ALL THE KIDS HE REACHED, HE WILL LIVE ON FOREVER. So sorry to hear of your loss. Mr Mullins was a wonderful man whom I respected and admired. He made biology fun….I never see the trees all decked out in their fall finery that I do not think of the catalog of leaves we had to collect for his class. My mother , Drusilla Rosson, thought the world of him both as a teacher and principal. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Nancy Jean, Brenda Kay & Clara. He will be missed here by many, but we all know Heaven has gotten a new angel.
