Funeral services for Mr. James Homer Caughran, age 81, of Huntsville will be conducted at 10AM Thursday at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Woodrow Harbin officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens.  Mr. Caughran passed away Tuesday morning at Brookshire Healthcare in Huntsville.

A son of the late Earl and Willie D. Kent Caughran, he was a native of Lincoln County, formerly owned New and Used Furniture, retired from the US Army, was a 50 year member of the Masons, a member of the Shiners’ and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife Wilma Lois Smith Caughran and son Gary Lee Caughran both of Huntsville.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
