Funeral services for Mr. James Allen Flynt, age 82 of Fayetteville will be conducted at 2PM Sunday at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Howell officiating.  Burial will follow in Kirkland Cemetery.  Mr. Flynt passed away Thursday July 16th at his residence.

He was a native of Lincoln County and the son of the late Alva Lee and Ella Mae Cantrell Flynt.  Mr. Flynt was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WW II, was retired mechanic with the Lincoln County Highway Dept and a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Flynt was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his wife Faye Towry Flynt of Fayetteville, step-son Wayne (Sonya) Towry of Fayetteville, three grandchildren Kristopher, Hiedi and Audrey Towry, Jack Thompson of California and brother Don Flynt of Fayetteville   He was preceded in death by step-son Kenneth Towry, sisters Viola, Irene, Nancy, Jewell, Ruby and Alease and brother Dorcie Flynt.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
