To the family of Jack Phillips: I am so sorry to hear that Jack passed away last Friday. I worked with Jack for many years in the Quality Management Division at REDSTONE . He and I traveled to various locations throughout the country performing audits of major suppliers for the government. He retired before I did and I continued working. It’s unfortunate that we don’t stay in touch after someone leaves the organization.

I enjoyed working with Jack and the friendship we had. I would like to add my condolences to all of Jack’s family. May God continue to bless each and everyone during this sad time.

I remember Mr Jack as I was growing up as an inspiration. His laugh and love for everyone. He never had a hard word for anyone and the love he showed was heart warming. The way he opened his home to my family during tornado season was always a blessing. He made sure everyone had a bed to lay down in and he was always the last to lay down and the first up if the weather turned worse. My heart is heavy for our lose, but enlightened by the knowledge that heaven has another bright star.

Jack was a consistent member of the Prayer on the Square group that meets the first Saturday of every month at the Fayetteville Square Gazebo. When he wasn’t there yesterday, we were all wondering if he was alright. Glad to hear he’s in the best place he could be! Jack was an awesome Christian and amazing friend. It was a mighty blessing to have known him and see Jesus in his life.

Jack Phillips was always happy, gentle, and kind. He was an amazing man with a wonderful marriage which was a total inspiration to us. We’ll always remember his adventurous spirit demonstrated in the Smokey Mountains and his pickin’-n-grinnin’ talents. Heaven is the grand recipient of a truly precious child of God.
