Funeral services for Mr. J. D. Sullivan, age 77, of Mulberry will be conducted at 11AM Saturday at Higgins Funeral Home with Pastor David Miller officiating.  Burial will follow in Mulberry Cemetery.  Mr. Sullivan passed away Thursday morning in Donalson Skill Care Center.

Mr. Sullivan was a native of Lincoln County, son of the late Jim C. and Ellen Tucker Sullivan, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a farmer.

Survivors include his wife Mary Gattis Sullivan of Mulberry, son Justin Sullivan and wife Dixie of Mulberry, grandsons Brice Sullivan of Mulberry, and Brandon Tucker and wife Farrah of Elkmont, AL, granddaughter Bridget Smith and husband Richie of Fayetteville, great grandchildren Rilee Smith, Reese Smith both of Fayetteville and Sister-in-law Sadie Sullivan of Fayetteville and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be Friday evening 4-7PM at Higgins Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers,
