Funeral service for Mr. J. D. Gordon age 88, of Fayetteville will be Conducted Monday at 2 PM in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. James West and Bro. Chris Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Booneville Cemetery. Mr. Gordon passed away Saturday morning at Lincoln Medical Center.

A native of Lincoln County, he was the son of the late John and Sally Bee (McGee) Gordon. Mr. Gordon worked at the Producer’s Stockyard and Farmer’s Auction, was a retired farmer and a member of the Mimosa Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife Wilma Faye (Raby) Gordon of Fayetteville, son Jerry Marcus and wife Earlene, daughter Wendy  and husband Mark Collins, son David Gordon and wife Tonya, daughter Cindy  Reese and husband Todd all of Fayetteville, ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Marybelle (McBay) Gordon, daughter Janice Gordon, brothers John Henry Gordon, Thomas Gordon, James Gordon, Edward Gordon and sisters Clara Tennison and Helen Sharp.

Visitation with the family will be Monday from 11 AM until time of service at 2 at Higgins Funeral Home.
