Funeral service Iris Wayne Brown, of Fayetteville, will be conducted at 11 AM on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Black officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Brown was born on April 17, 1930, in Lincoln County, TN to the late Vascar and Brownie Kathleen William Ellis. She sold newspapers with the Elk Valley Times for 33 year and was a member of the Washington Street Church of Christ. Mrs. Brown passed away on December 26, 2017 at Donalson Care Center.
Survivors include her son, Tim (Nina Duckett) Brown of Fayetteville; grandson, Dalton Brown; sister, Jean Crowder; great-nephew, Jason (Ginger) Chandler; and a special friend, Helen Price. In addition to her parnets, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband Pete Brown and a nephew, Ronnie Chandler.
Visitation with the family will be 5 PM until 8 PM on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Higgins Funeral Home.

Tim and Dalton, I am so sorry for the loss of your wonderful Mother and Grandmother. She was such a sweet person…so nice to talk to..I remember seeing her for years on the corner by the First Baptist Church selling the paper.. She will be missed by everyone….
