Funeral service for Mr. Houston Floyd Caldwell, Jr., age 94, of Fayetteville, TN will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Higgins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kelso Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday at Higgins.

Mr. Caldwell was born October 13, 1928, in Lincoln County, TN to the late Houston F.  and Lula Warren Caldwell. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and achieved the rank of Captain. Houston was a plant manager for General Motors in Detroit, MI and a Mason. He passed away December 23, 2022, at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital in Tullahoma, TN.

Survivors include his daughters, Merile Dault of Fayetteville, and Heather Caldwell of Flint, MI; grandson, Evan Dault of Dallas, TX; brothers, Alden Caldwell of Kelso, Thomas Caldwell of Spokane, WA; and sisters, Lydia Shelton and Linda Harliss both of Chattanooga, TN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirlee Caldwell; and sister, Kathleen Caldwell Hunter.
