A funeral mass for Helene Kawiecki, age 96 of Fayetteville will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father Jose officiating. Burial will follow in Wright’s Cemetery. Mrs. Kawiecki passed away Thursday in Whitesburg Gardens in Huntsville.
She was the daughter of the late Jan and Marianne Malesza and was a retired seamstress. Mrs. Kawiecki was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church and was a hospital volunteer.
Survivors include one son Serge and Debbie Kawiecki of Meridianville, AL, their son Steve and wife Michelle of Olathe, KS and grandson Gavin, two daughters Jeanine Kawiecki of France and daughter Deborah, Marisha Keller of Enon, OH, her children Patricia and Brian Boggs of Springfield, OH and Paula and Mark Ellerbrock of Sylvania, OH sisters Jozefa Mankowski and Maria Czynick both of Kolo, Poland, Mrs. Kawiecki was preceded in death by a daughter Genevieve survived by children Helena, Frank, Callie and Jan seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be Friday evening 4-7 p. m. at Higgins Funeral Home.

We are so sorry about Your Mother . Mrs. Helena has been a very special person to us, since we moved to Fayetteville. We have always admired her incredibe ability to speak and write beautiful polish language after so many years away from her native country.
