Obituary

Funeral service for Mr. Hayden W. Warden, age 94, of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Warden passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 in the Lincoln Medical Center.

Mr. Warden was a native of Fayetteville, TN, the son of the late Tillman and Lillian Rowlett Warden. He was a government photographer at the Redstone Arsenal and continued his photography after retirement. He was a WWII veteran of the Army Air Corp and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Warden enjoyed collecting guns.

Survivors include his daughter Kathy (Wayne) Smith of Fayetteville, TN, sons Larry (Marie) Warden of Marianna, FL, Steve Warden of Fayetteville, TN, grandchildren Gary Warden, Brad Warden, Amy Dennis, Hayley Burke, Allison Hinson, Matthew Hinson, step-grandchildren Lindy Cramer, Ben Cramer, Jennifer McIntosh, Audrey Cannon, sister Dorothy Curtis of Houston, TX, close friends Charles and Frances Gault, 9 great grandchildren, 4 step-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Groce Warden, daughter Tracey Hinson, grandson Jason Young, sisters Virginia Miller, Reba Buchanan and Doris Hood.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 12 until 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
